I designed this book for a Community Archaeology Group, who wrote a book together recording the History of Howth and information they’d found.
They asked for the design to have a formal feel with something to brighten up the pages. We decided to colour code each chapter, which also represented a different time period in time, so it gave the reader a simple way to navigate through the history.
This was a really fun project and it was fun to work with a Community Group.
Through careful selection of typography, imagery, and overall layout, I ensured that the content is not only visually appealing but also effectively communicate the great work of Resurrecting Monuments throughout this book. e
